FAQ's

Q:

Can't I just look up exercises online and do them myself?

A:

Be careful with this thought process as online videos target a mass audience.  This means that many critical aspects that personalize a program are overlooked such as movement difficulty, range of motion, pre and post-injury exercise.  This leads to potential injury and inefficiently meeting your goals.  Remember, even the best trainers and athletes have Personal Trainers.

Q:

Can I use Form Focus sessions for long-term fitness goals?

A:

Form Focus sessions are not personalized programs.  Sessions are designed to focus on one exercise for clients who want to perfect their movement pattern on a particular skill.  In the 20 minutes, clients will receive professional cues and techniques to improve movement execution of the chosen exercise.

Q:

How many days do I need to train to reach my goals?

A:

This is heavily dependent on the client's goals.  However, a minimum of two days a week is recommended.

Q:

I travel a lot, can my sessions be a mixture of in-person and online?

A:

Yes! Session days and times may have to be adjusted, but I will do my best to adhere to your traveling schedule.

Q:

I want to train online but, I do not have any equipment.  Can I still train?

A:

Yes.  Many exercises can be done with just you!  However, depending on your goals certain equipment may be necessary to ensure the best results.

Q:

Do I have to buy my own equipment.

A:

The type of equipment needed is dependent on the program. Some apparatuses can be provided, however other equipment is purchased by the client.

Q:

How much space do I need for a virtual session?

A:

There should be enough space for a client to lie completely flat and move within  the different planes of motion while standing without the risk of bumping into anything or anyone.

Q:

How do I contact my trainer for virtual sessions?

A:

Virtual sessions can be done via: FaceTime, Zoom and Google Meet.

Q:

Do I need a gym in my building for in-person sessions?

A:

No.

Q:

Do sessions expire?

A:

Yes. Sessions expire after 6 months from the purchase date.

Q:

Can I train with a friend?

A:

I currently do not offer duet sessions.

Q:

Are training sessions available for children?

A:

I train ages 5 and up depending on their training goal.  Please fill out your information in the contact section and I will be happy to connect with you!

Q:
